Words from Pastor Ron
Luke 5:5, But Simon answered and said to Him, “Master, we have toiled all night and caught nothing; nevertheless at
Your word I will let down the net.”

There are times in your life that God may ask you to do something that doesn't make much since in the physical but
when you are obedient, things will happen in the spiritual.

In this story in Luke 5, Simon and his partners had just finished fishing all night to no avail. They had worked hard,
pulling in the nets, letting out the nets, pulling back in the nets and still no fish. It didn't
make any since in the physical when Jesus told him to let down the nets but because Simon was obedient to the Word of
the Lord a great harvest of fish took place to the point that it took both boats to haul it in and then the weight of the fish
was causing the boats to sink.

In the physical, it doesn't’t make since for Harbor Fellowship to start a second service when the building isn't even close
to being filled up in the first service, but at the Word of the Lord we will let down our
nets expecting to see a great harvest.

As we begin 2009, if the Lord speaks to your heart, don’t look at it from the physical and rationalize if it will work or not
but see it in the spiritual and at the Word of the Lord, let down your nets.
